It was an exciting afternoon of boxing hosted by the Detroit Golden Gloves and the New Way Training Center in Shelby Township Michigan.
KRONK's Jay Martin showed great improvement since training with for KRONK world champion Johnathon Banks. Martin scored 2 standing 8 counts in the final round and dominated throughout. The KRONK STYLE was truly on display.
DJ "The Stickman" and Darren "The Skinnyman" got back in the winners circle with both picking up 3 round decisions. Jirair Thompson had his fight cancelled due to a miscommunication about the agreed upon weight, but the young charge stayed busy working the corners being a part of the 2-0 run made by DJ and Darren. Head coach Erskine Wade was out of town so assistant head trainer Milton "Ice Man" McCrory along with Jerome and Terry Kinney headed up the training team.
