KRONK CROSS OVER FAMILY REUNION

You can research boxing history and it would be hard to find an event that was hosting so many boxing luminaries at the same time. That event is "The Battle of The Baddest" in Riyahd - Saudi Arabia and while being promoted by two hall-of-fame promoters Frank Warren and Bob Arum, the one who deserves credit for making this historic event possible is it's host, his excellency Turki Alalshikh. Boxing trainer and broadcaster Teddy Atlas paid a strong compliment to Alalshikh on social media stating, "The only thing greater than his generosity is his passion and respect for the sport and its fighters." If you follow this event on social media this past week, the photos will show no detail was missed and no expense was sparred. (Third Chambers pictured with Marshall "Eminem" Mathers)

The guest list that includes A-list celebrities from Eminem, Ronaldo and Kanye West to just about every former world champion from boxing and MMA a fight fan could dream of from Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray, Duran, Chuck Lidell to Conor McGregor. Aside from the guest list, the fight card itself is truly stacked. The main event features undisputed heavyweight king Tyson Fury facing MMA heavyweight king Francis Ngannou in what is now being referred to as "cross over boxing". It is an intriguing matchup that has boxing purists and casual fans debating about like few before it. For the casual fans its an easy why not, but when it comes to the purist's, they most likely are asking why? Simple, millions, a few hundred of them when it is all settled and done. The last time a "cross over fight" took place that had this type of interest, MMA champion Conor McGreggor made $100 million dollars for his pro-debut in a boxing ring when he took on Floyd Mayweather. Let that sink in.

For fans interested in watching, you can catch all the action starting at 2pm EST on ESPN PPV. And for all our KRONK fans out there, the KRONK connections are awesome to see!

The "KRONK family" VIP Guests include several boxers that were trained by Emanuel Steward including Lennox Lewis, Oscar DeLaHoya, Shannon Briggs, Evander Holyfield, Prince Naseem Hamed and Miguel Cotto. Hip Hop icon Marshall "Eminem" Mathers, who Emanuel Steward trained is also in attendance. KRONK friend Roy Jones Jr. was repping KRONK x Roots Of Fight "Pain and Fame" collab. KRONK family is definitely in the house on the fight card with Tyson Fury (who trained at KRONK) and his trainer Sugar-Hill Steward (Emanuel's nephew), KRONK Gym member Third Chambers has undefeated heavyweight David Adeleye challenging for the British heavyweight championship in the co-main event and in the semi-main event we have KRONK's favorite son Andy Lee guiding former heavyweight champion Joseph Parker who was repping KRONK merch in training camp.

Hate it or love it, the game has changed! And thanks to change, boxers have the ability to earn more money now than ever before in the sports history and not just in the ring. Unlike yesteryear when boxers were lucky to get a Lite Beer commercial, with less than 10 fights Jake Paul (trained by KRONK Gym members Third Chambers and J'Leon Love) can make a couple social media posts and earn a few million dollars a month in his sleep, literally. While Paul earned over $25 million dollars in his last bout vs Nate Diaz, Tyson Fury's younger brother Tommy earned $10 million dollars for a 6 round fight just last weekend in a "You Tube" labeled fight!

No, this is not your grandfather's boxing on Saturday afternoon with tin foil antennas on the tv, this is social media powered streaming apps in your face high powered promotion at its finest. But then again, didn't your grandfather have you adjust those rabbit ears so he could watch Muhammad Ali take on Antonio Inoki on that old tv set?
